Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Jakub Jirgl, operating under the jirgl.dev name (“I”, “me”, “my”), handles your information across the mobile applications and websites I publish on the Apple App Store, Google Play, and the web.
I build privacy-first software. The guiding principle is data minimization: collect nothing that isn’t needed, keep data on your device whenever possible, and avoid third-party tracking.
Scope and app-specific policies
This document is the general policy that applies to all apps published under the jirgl.dev name. Because each app is different, an individual app may collect or process data in ways this general policy does not describe. Where an app has its own privacy policy, that app-specific policy takes precedence for that app.
App-specific privacy policies:

If you can’t find an app-specific policy, this general policy applies and the app processes data only as described below.

What data is collected
What is collected depends on the specific app:
- Content you create in the app (such as notes, goals, tasks, or settings) is, by default, stored locally on your device. An app that syncs to a cloud or server will say so in its own policy.
- Purchase data for any paid app or in-app purchase is processed by Apple or Google. I never receive or store your payment card number or full billing details — only whether a purchase or entitlement is active.
- Diagnostics are only collected if a specific app explicitly says so in its own policy. By default, I do not add custom analytics or crash-reporting SDKs.
I do not sell your personal data, and I do not use third-party advertising networks unless an app’s own policy explicitly states otherwise.
Purchases and subscriptions
Payments for paid apps, in-app purchases, and subscriptions are handled entirely by the Apple App Store and Google Play. Their processing of your payment information is governed by Apple’s and Google’s own privacy policies.
Third-party services
By default my apps do not integrate third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. Any third-party service used by a specific app — including the data it receives and a link to its privacy policy — is disclosed in that app’s own privacy policy. The only routine third-party interaction is with Apple or Google for app distribution and purchase processing.
How your data is protected
Apps that keep data on your device rely on the operating system’s sandboxing and device security (passcode, Face ID / Touch ID, full-device encryption). If you enable iCloud Backup or device backups, your on-device app data may be included in those Apple- or Google-managed, encrypted backups, which you control.
Children
My apps are not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and I do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example, under the EU/EEA GDPR), you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or port your personal data, and to object to certain processing.
For apps that store data only on your device, you are in direct control: you can view, export, or delete your data in the app, and uninstalling the app removes its local data. For any other request, contact me at jirgl.jakub@gmail.com.
Data retention
On-device data is kept until you delete it or uninstall the app. Where an app stores data outside your device, its own policy describes the relevant retention periods.
Changes to this policy
I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
