Focus Radar — Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 28, 2026

Short version: Focus Radar collects no personal data. Everything you create stays on your device. There is no account, no cloud sync, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDKs. The app works fully offline.

This Privacy Policy describes how the Focus Radar app for iOS handles your information. Focus Radar is published by Jakub Jirgl (jirgl.dev).

Who is responsible

  • Developer: Jakub Jirgl (jirgl.dev)
  • Company ID (IČO): 05432782

What data is collected

None is collected by me. I operate no servers and cannot access anything you do in the app.

Everything you create in Focus Radar — your goals, focus records, tasks, and any custom icon images — is stored locally on your device, in the app’s private storage. This data never leaves your device through Focus Radar, and I have no way to see, retrieve, or receive it.

If you have iCloud Backup or encrypted device backups enabled, your Focus Radar data may be included in those Apple-managed backups. Those backups are controlled by you and Apple; I have no access to them.

Photo library access

Focus Radar can use a photo from your library only when you (as a Focus Radar Plus user) choose to set a custom photo as a goal icon. In that case the selected image is copied into the app’s local storage on your device and resized. The image is not uploaded anywhere and is not shared with me or anyone else. If you never set a custom photo icon, the app does not access your photos.

Purchases (Focus Radar Plus)

Focus Radar Plus is a one-time in-app purchase processed by Apple through StoreKit. Apple handles the entire payment. I do not receive your name, Apple ID, email, or payment details — the app only checks with Apple whether your Plus purchase is active. Apple’s handling of your purchase is governed by Apple’s Privacy Policy.

No tracking, analytics, ads, or third parties

Focus Radar contains no analytics, no crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. The app makes no network connections of its own; the only network communication is between your device and Apple’s App Store to complete or restore your purchase.

Notifications

Focus Radar does not send push notifications and does not schedule local notifications. It does not request notification permissions.

Exporting and deleting your data

  • Export: In Settings → Export Data, you can export all your data as CSV files (goals, records, and tasks) bundled in a ZIP and shared via the system share sheet. The export happens entirely on your device.
  • Delete: Deleting goals, records, or tasks in the app removes them from your device. Uninstalling Focus Radar removes all of its local data.

Children

Focus Radar is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country), and no personal data is knowingly collected from children. Because the app collects no data at all, it poses no data-collection risk to any user.

Your rights

Under privacy laws such as the EU/EEA GDPR you have rights over your personal data (access, correction, deletion, portability, and more). Since Focus Radar keeps all data on your device and I never receive it, you exercise these rights directly within the app — you can view, export, and delete your data at any time. For any questions, contact me at jirgl.jakub@gmail.com.

Changes to this policy

I may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be reflected on this page.
